Arcade Fire - Wake Up
this song came on the radio today as I was picking my younger brother up from school, and I put it on FULL BLAST. it's such an epic song, and I love it. it makes me want to see the band live so much, just hearing their music. the echos, the buildups, the layers, everything is just perfect. then it got me thinking to the days when my older brother would pick me up from school with Mac Dre playing really loudly. oh how very different we are.
It's okay, Hanan. My sister listened to Rick Astley. As a FAN. Arcade Fire is great, though I think I over-listened to them because I kind of can't anymore...?
you know how to cure that don't you? you have to see them live. it's like when you have a song stuck in your head, and the only thing that gets rid of it is actually LISTENING to the song

hahaha that Bowie getup was just too much. I love Charlie. "I WILL SMASH YOUR FACE INTO...INTO A JELLY!"
alas I can offer no help on the sleep front. the day before one of my final exams (philosphy of education, haha ironic, seeing as how I make my living now), I went to a concert, stayed up all night and was fine for my 8AM three hour exam, and, just for the hell of it, decided to take a nap when I was 2/3 done, just to see if I could finish in time. and I did. and I aced the class. hahahah.
