"12:51" is the song that really got me going on The Strokes and by far one of my favorites. When they released it as a single before ROF was released, my love for The Strokes blossomed as I re-listened to ITI over and over in anticipation for ROF.
The boys came out to UCSD in early 2006 and were playing all the ROF stuff. When they played "12:51" I was screaming the lyrics so loud that all the college kids just there for a show were giving me dirty looks. Dorks...
I just hope when you get to hear this song live you have a good memory of it like I do.
