"Always on my mind" was written by Johnny Christopher, Mark James and Wayne Carson Thompson and was originally performed by Brenda Lee.Elvis Presley probably recorded the best version of the song IMO, but it's been done by over 300 artists and I'm sure I haven't listened to them all
