this is currently my favourite song. the buildup is monumental, then it explodes into a great punk ball of fury and nihilism. the lyrics are divine.

Agreed; "The Monitor" has been on near-repeat for the past four months. Incredible album--the lyric that the title of your post refers to was inspiration for my New Year's resolution to never give up.
