Writing this blog used to bring me joy, but it no longer serves that purpose. As of today, I have decided to forgo all further posting. Thank you to everyone who has read, supported or otherwise been loyal to Music Induced Euphoria. It's been a blast.

I trust your judgement enough to know that if this is what you want to do then it's what you should do, but it doesn't mean it's not a real shame - I'll miss this blog, a lot.
It was so cool having someone to obsess about The Strokes with, chat about everything from Black Lips to The Beatles with a bit of Harry Potter banter and crude French fabliaux thrown in for fun. And that's without mentioning all the great music you introduced me to!
So, I guess...just thanks, Hanan, for writing Music Induced Euphoria; it's been awesome.

bummer! It's not April 1st is it? This is saddening. Thanks for the awesome indie rock coverage and unprecedented quality Strokes posts. To me, you are the best Strokes superfan - no others compare. From the bootlegs to videos, I know The Strokes better because of you.

This is so sad! I love your taste in music and have really enjoyed exploring new bands that you have recommended.
