SPIN: "Homophobia Haunts Indie Rock"


In light of a recent attack on garage-punk band the Young Lovers, the magazine profiled frontman Brontez Purnell and also placed the spotlight on other gay musicians in indie rock. The article discusses homophobia and stigma often associated with being a gay musician. Head over HERE to read it

Diplomat's Son came out of two stories: one by Rostam about two young silver-spoon type teenage boys having a tenuous romantic relationship, and one by Koenig that plays more like a boarding school revenge story. Easily my favorite VW song.
