Albert looks amazing. the first thing I was gonna ask Jules if I met him was "how is Albert?!" but that looks a tad unneccessary now. I am so happy.

it's such a homage to his fellow Strokes, and it was just so cool of him. he's bringing the attention back to the band, not being selfish or anything. oh I love you Julian C.

OH MY GOSH this is magical. magical. I've been waiting for this to be performed live for years. How I want to be in that crowd...hearing them sing along makes me want to cry. That should be me there!
And you're so true, it feels like the rollercoaster ride is finally easing up.
Oh and the photo?! Did I read on youtube that Albert and Fab were there? This just made my day!

Ahh! I can't believe he was there! I had just read a Fader article that said they were interviewing Albert from his parents house in LA. I knew he'd be there! Glad to see he looks better though =-)
But I agree, it does look like a sign of good things to come.

I knew you'd be pleased to hear that he played "I'll Try Anything Once," and for the record I was singing along. It was a magical moment.
I am so jealous of that crowd! At least it wasn't the b-side of "trying your luck", I would have been super pissed if I missed that.
Can I mention, this man can pull off white pretty damn well! (Looks incredible in the "you only live once" music video as well :D)
And so happy to see that Albert is doing better. I would be much happier hearing that the Strokes fourth album is set for release, than hearing that Julian is coming to Houston. Then of course if both were to happen, my life would be heaven!
I was there last night.. and it was literally the best night of my life!!! I cried when he started singing this.
oh Edith, the demo of Trying Your Luck just KILLS me. I love the song so much as it is, the demo is too gorgeous for words.
I'm going to cry so many tears next Tuesday. I'll probably have to bribe my brother with cigarettes to take videos of everything while I dance and cry.
We'll all chip in for some bribe-y ciggs.
haha my brother is so strange. when he asked me what I thought of his new shirt (it was flannel), I told him he looked like a hipster and that I was disowning him. a few minutes later, he asked me "which flannel shirt should I wear for Julian's show?" hahhaha the snideness he gets from me, I'm sure.
