The tune is certainly great, but honestly, the lyrics are kind of mediocre.

^maybe they intended them to be similar? idk, ive read of some people comparing them to last nite "been in town for just fifteen minutes now" as if it was an intentional parallel. even if not, though, julian's lyrics have never been classically poetic. it should hardly be surprising.
