
I picked up Americana (1998) for fifty cents yesterday, and listened to the whole thing twice last night. it is the band's fifth album and I quite liked it. when I saw that it was produced by Columbia, I kind of winced and thought of the likes of Bob Dylan and The Clash and big labels vs rebellious music. I guess things were different in the pre-internet age but still.
