Julian Casablancas: European tour dates

Copenhagen Vega (November 30)
Stockholm Gota Kallare (December 1)
Berlin Maria Am Ostbahnof (3)
Amsterdam Paradiso (5)
Paris Le Bataclan (8)
Manchester Ritz (11)
Glasgow ABC (12)
Dublin Academy (14)
London Forum (16)

yay! I'm so happy for my Euro-trash Strokes fan counterparts. haha, I'm only joking, I wish I were Euro-trash

he really looks so much better with dark hair. it's making me seriously contemplate dying my hair black, an idea I've been toying with for ages. but if I did that, I would want my hair straightened and I would miss my curls aka mane.

uh uh girl i disagree. I like that hurr natural color all the way. i think dying and straigtening hair in general is blaspheme, it messes with the disulfide bonds in your hair protein. i bet your curls are cute.

Nooooo Jules where are the east coast dates? C'mon now, remember New York? DC ain't too far either.

I'm sick of being envious of everyone else! I'm pumped for Conan though.

I gotta disagree too. I love that light brown, bedhead, Is This It era hair best! It's sexy.

Although I do think his one little red streak in his hair now is kind of interseting and cute.

Keep your hair curly. All the curly-heads I love (Albert, Fab AND Matt Romano) have abandoned it. We need to keep it from becoming extinct.

I actually like both of Julian's hairstyles. When it comes to The Strokes guys, they can pretty much make any haircut look awesome (with the exception of the Nikolai one you posted a few days ago).

NOOOOOOOO!!! DONT TOUCH THE CURLS!!!
I've been reading MIE religously since we met at the andrew bird/ death cab show, and this is the first thing ive read that i totally disagreed with; you have the best musical tastes ive ever come across.
seriously MIE has been a life changer, ive all but given up on searching through the hundreds of thousands of music publications that are more concerned with the way the music makes them look, not feel. i cant describe how much nicer it is to just come home and read a few new posts, and hear good music without having to search through pages of forgettable hipster crap.
im free from pitchfork!!
and i think those curls of yours perfectly represent your minds willingness to know who you are, and what works for you, not whats going to land you on the cover of rolling stone.
long live MIE and the curls!

I PERSONALLY LOVE HIS DYED HAIR. AND THE ORANGE STREAK. ORANGE STREAK FOREVERRR.
If only because I'm a ginger and when he finally goes to New York, I'm going to give myself a black streak so we match mwhaha.

Do it Type! Do it! I was thinking about pulling a Jules too (orange stripe) but it wouldn't look good with my medium brown hair. And it already looks like a Christmas tree 'cause of frizziness. I don't want to decorate that tree.

Hanan, experiment, you're young.

awh, thanks Jon.

Dakota, you are...just wow. crazy boy. you have no idea how nice that was to read, ESPECIALLY because the day we met, I was having an AWFUL hairday...I decided to experiment by letting 101 dry my hair. bad, bad idea. but anyhow, that was very sweet and yes I think I'm gonna keep my mane

here is what it looks like when it wants to be pleasant: http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r252/hananerikat/CIMG9709-Copy.jpg (minus the flatness up top, resulting from my graduation cap haha)

sorry about that little rant, it was a tad more audacious than im use to being, but damn it kid you are blessed with a beautiful head full of curlyrocklocks

I've never been so heartbroken.

Couldn't afford a ticket, its so ridiculously over priced, cant believe they did that even before the album is released! Managed to get the money but its sold out.

I sort of feel that this move was because they knew how much people would pay to just see Julian from the strokes. I do not believe it was Julian himself though, he'd never do that.

that sucks so majorly.
I didn't want to bring my camera originally to this thing because I will be dancing my heart out but I feel bad for all you guys missing out so I think I might end up taking vids of the entire show. that is, if they even allow taping, a lot of venues are super anal (especially big venues with big name shows)

how much were your tickets? mine were 35 I think but I ended up paying just a bit under 50 with surcharges DIE TICKETMASTER DIE.
could you maybe scalp a ticket?

Venues over there don't allow taping??? How weird!

For a ticket with extra charges, it came to £25 for me but the problem was, it costs me a lot to get there and back and its just before Christmas (plus i don't have any money at the moment). When i get paid, i think ill start looking on ebay for some because i don't think i can miss out.
