The Strokes Post #247
I think it's very cute that this showed up a few hours after the album leaked. it reminded me strongly of what The Dodos did for Time to Die(great album, btw)

DEAR GOD ok hanan i know you are one of the unfortunate non central/easter time zoners (although you actually get to see his ass live) but let me assure you of the conan performance: I speak for everyone when I say im pretty sure that every single molecule in my entire entity has been thoroughlly and completely seduced and electrified ..........uuuuuhhhhhhh i gotta go to bed my babies i have a test in the morning which i fail because my hands have been electrified off.
AH! I am so excited. I have to wait another two hours plus some though. erg. today, I told a sixth grader whom I was tutoring about Julian. she was rapping about euglenoids and I begged her to stop and then we started talking about music and I let slip that I was seeing my favourite singer in a couple of weeks and when I said his name, the kid went "whoa, he sounds like he's from the seventies". this was just from hearing his name, mind you.
Allie, I'd say good luck but I know how shitty and unfair college level science exams are. I hated that. I hated not having my own intelligence recognized. but whatevs, I'm not headed towards med school (just drastic poverty)
Yay for Jules! Great show. Obviously the whole crowd was there for him. My husband liked his dance moves. I was nervous at first because his voice wasn't mixed in loud enough, but then they fixed it. Great performance. A fun start to an exciting next couple of months for the fans. I'm pumped. Just gotta decide if it's worth it to get to those shows. Proud of you, Jules!
