The Strokes Post #208

I was looking through my Strokes cds yesterday, and remembered how much I love the album art for this single. Also, the font for "Clampdown" is green and pink, which is an extra tribute to the greatest Clash album ever. The first, and more important tribute, of course, is the b-side cover of the song.

The End Has No End [click to watch the music video]
much love to Ryan, Eva Mendes, and Mila Kunis.

i got my friend alfredo into the strokes because i showed him some picture or performance and he said (imagine a columbian accent) "Allie they have the coolest jackets ever"
clearly from this video Alfie is a wise man.

HAHAH! I love it! every time I look at my Strokes wall, I forget my veg lifestyle and think about how much I want a leather jacket. I will eventually buy one, but I haven't found the perfect one yet. also, I hate spending $$ on clothes (or anything non-music related), so I need to find a relatively cheap one.

you know, Jules has a lyric on his new album "I know I'm going to hell in a leather jacket"

AH! Won't Be Long by The Hives just came on shuffle, excuse me, I have to go dance now.

that lyric is boss! I am also a vegetarian who would love a leather jacket, but I would never be able to wear it seeing as I live on the surface of the sun. of course complimenting style might be straight male music fanboy code for "dayyyuuuumm them boyz is FWWWWIIIIINE"

haha =)
where do you live? I'm in a place where it's sunny like 300 days of the year. I'll be moving to NY in a couple of years though. that is for sure.

I live on the florida panhandle, on the gulf coast, and before that lived in southern louisiana on the gulf coast. Deep South/gulf coast doesnt have near that many sunny days (rain) but we do have 100% humidity so the heat index is in the 100s or 90s. good luck getting to NYC

oh wow, you win.

Santa Clara's not too bad, but I miss Berkeley and SF so much. I love cold weather.

once I'm done with my MA, I'm gonna move. I'll figure out what happens when I'm there.
