MUST WATCH VIDEO: Spoon do "Written in Reverse" on Conan
ok, class, raise your hand if you agree: Transference, while a tad toned down on record, will translate as the most epic collection of live Spoon songs to date.
There are some songs that still need to grow on me (who needs your money). But there is some of their best stuff on here too! I love the lo fi sound on the opener and Trouble Comes Running. Girls Can Tell will probably always be my favorite album of theirs.
Four or five years ago I would have thought it strange for a band's frontman not to play guitar. Now I'm like "wtf get another band member"! haha. It looks so unusual after watching a million Strokes performances.
