MUST WATCH VIDEO: Ryan Adams - So Alive

Right now, I'm listening to Rock n Roll as I read "The Tale of Zumurrud and Ali Shar" in The Thousand and One Nights (really good, ftw), and "So Alive" came on, making me nostalgic for the following video, which, in my opinion is MUCH better than the studio version

enjoy!

I can't believe I've never posted this before, I watch it all of the time!

Saw him in Boston on this tour...so much awesomeness.

Of note, however: on the record, Ryan plays all the instruments except the drums, whereas here, obviously not.

Maybe your subconscious prefers a full band?

I love his performance in the video. I hate to say it, but in comparison, the album recording sounds flat.

of course he plays all the instruments, he's a prodigy after all.

him and Zach Condon, man, they just blow me away with their multi-instrumental goodness. oh, and Andrew Bird but I shant be elaborating because I know your sentiments towards the guy.

I love him. His version of "wonderwall" is amazing...

Ryan Adams is great. his Wonderwall is, indeed, incredible. I prefer it to the original, in fact.
