Aren't those line ups insane?!?!
Andrew Bird, Ra Ra Riot, Tegan and Sara, The New Pornographers?!
It's insane!
I just don't know how I'll afford a Hollywood Bowl show =-/
How big is the Nor Cal Greek Theatre? The same as the L.A. one?

I know, right?

I've never been to the LA one, but you can kind of get an idea of the size of the Berkeley one here:

Wait, your Greek Theatre is general admission?!

P.S. Really weird, but Jason Mraz is performing on SNL the very second I'm typing this!

Hanan said...

yeah, but the stage is REALLY high, so it's best to stand on the sides, which are more elevated than the immediate floor

oh Jason Mraz, how I love you. the only singer I've ever heard in concert sing in PERFECT FUCKING PITCH the whole way through. he is an angel, indeed.

Wow. But that's still great. This is what ours looks like =-/

And sometimes you're forced to sit down! I had to sit during Snow Patrol's entire show!

dude! lame!
so, if you want to be up front, you have to pay more, right? or do you even have that option?

I HATE SITTING DURING SHOWS.
the only three times I've ever done it were at Beirut, Antony and the Johnsons and The Killers, Beirut and Antony were ok because the music is so chill and my seat was good both times but at The Killers, it was the Warfield and I had a balcony seat and was hella far. plus, it's a rock show. the same thing happened at MCR at the Warfield (sold out, I had a balcony seat) but I flirted with the security guy and he let me onto the dance floor. at the Killers, the security people were all old and most of em, butch ladies.
it didn't matter because the music sucked so badly but yeah

I know! Well the tix for the front do cost more, and I would GLADLY pay up, but they usually save them for the super rich who usually sit.

It is SO unfair when you see the people who are genuinely excited sitting in the back and everyone in the front doesn't care.

oh dude tell me about it.
damn rich people. they're too busy being workaholics to obsess about music the way that we do hahaha
