If you do actually talk to him please don't ask something really complicated or nerdy. That would be really awkward and I don't think he would answer the question with a tremendous amount of thought after an hour-long show.
I think you should talk with him about becoming a father. How he's dealing with it, if he's reading baby books and how his wife is (don't mention her by name; again, very creepy). And you can intro it by saying that you read on MusicInducedEuphoria that he was becoming a father and see if he knows your site. Two birds with one stone.
Oh, and how are you going to meet him? Do you have a plan?

weird that you mention that, that was actually the only thing I was gonna talk to him about. I want to say thank you obviously, that he is my hero in many many ways, and congrats on being a father. I want to ask how he's holding up because nobody's asked him about it really. and I'm sure he'll be pleased. men always love talking about the fruit of their loins, it's funny. also, he'll be a great dad because he had a shite relationship with his own and I'm sure he wants to compensate.
I usually linger around after concerts. at Little Joy, I met Fab because I refused to leave the venue, just kept talking to the opening band and stuff (you have to act like you're part of any band's road group, even if you aren't. always act like you own the place and people will fall for it)
just as the venue people were kicking the remaining three or four of us out at around midnight, out walks Fab all fucked up on alcohol and various drugs I'm sure and invites us backstage.
for Jules, I'll be going there like wayyyy early, so I'll have chilled with the proper fans for hours beforehand and then we can figure out a way to meet Julian. we West Coast folk are crafty. not at all what you see on the OC. or what I assume you see on the OC, as I've never watched an episode. just that simpsons parody of it haha
